Have been coming to this library since I was a kid, when it was in the old building. The librarians are always sweet, helpful, and knowledgeable. I appreciate their help! The library is clean, usually quiet, and pretty to look at, with some great books! Right next to a park too!
It’s a small library but has connections with multiple others. Not many new and on topic/relevant stories though. Great kids sections we come every two weeks
One of the best public libraries and located in a sacred and safe place near Muckleshoot and next to or on a beautiful Auburn park and recreation area with play round and recreational facilities.
Was not as simple as it was in Moses lake to just print a label from my email. They made me sign up for a card just to print something which took some time to register. Also you only get 10 pages a week for free. In Moses lake they give you a guest pass so no sign up needed and they give you 15 free pages a week for free to print or copy.
Librarians are extremely helpful! Space is relaxing, beautiful & well organized. Bravo!!
Wonderful place... when it's open! The actual hours are hit and miss and sometimes its not open on the inside.... it is loud like a California library. Even had a concert there once held by some kids who played some punk music. The girls are quite talented. You can find some of their music on youtube! The homeless population is quite friendly and very helpful! You can also walk up to any homeless person and ask them a library question and they will usually know the answer. They are quite helpful! I suffer from IBS and frequent the men's bathroom. Sometimes, there is a person sleeping in the stall and I really have to go. But give em a couple of bucks and they will leave the stall and let you do your business in peace. There is also usually a crowd of smokers outside who help cover up the homeless smell with their smoking smell. They are not homeless, or at least don't look homeless. I liked to smoke when I was younger... I am not knocking them. This is really appreciated. Not every homeless person there has used the bathroom facilities to bathe in the sink. There is also a statue outside of the library of some weird looking giant bird who is eating some giant french fries. Not sure what the story is behind this creature but I am sure its a real riot during Halloween! It looks scary enough to keep the kids away. The printing quote has been reduced to just a few pages. It used to be about fifty pages and now its about five. But if you are smart and need to print a lot of stuff, you can always come back next week if the library is open. Again, when this place is open, its so much better than either library in Federal Way and ten times better than the one in Kent! Did I mention that they also lend out DVD's? Lot of classic movies in the library! While the movies are usually not in stock, you can put yourself on a waiting list and come pick up the DVD movie when its ready.
Friendly, helpful, and fun! The kids zone isn't much as far as entertainment but they have some great kids books. Overall, it's a smaller library, but really great staff.
Such a nice library with a park right outside
